Thousands continue to take to the streets across Syria, despite the bloody crackdown on protests. Activists say that thousands of civilians have been killed by security forces. We bring you the latest news from various sources.

The Local Co-ordination Committees say 23 people were killed on Friday, while other activists say 30.

The LCC say 12 were killed in Homs province (Homs city, al-Rastan, Talbiseh), six in Hama and suburbs, three the Damascus suburbs and Douma and Daraya, and one each in Idlib and Deraa.
